Ovarian cancer is the most common gynecological tumor. Patients often present late in ovarian cancer with vague abdominal discomfort, low back pain, bloating, altered bowel habits, and weight loss. People experience complications like loss of fertility, menopause, recurrent infections, pleural effusion, perforated colon, bleeding which won't stop easily, anemia, edema, fatigue, unintentional weight loss, ascites, bowel obstructions, bone pain. Few complications may arise due to treatment as well, such as infections, bleeding, leukemia, neuropathy, renal disorder, thrombocytopenia, ototoxicity, hernia.
The most women may have complications such as vaginal bleeding, blood clots in the pelvis or legs, infertility, and early menopause after surgery.
Advanced stage causes abdominal bloating and swelling, weight loss, fatigue, infertility, abnormal vaginal bleeding and changes in the bowel movement.
